Ongoing Initiatives
The Massachusetts Workforce Board Association and each of the 16 workforce investment boards (WIB) have been directly involved in efforts to address the ongoing workforce labor and skills gaps along with insufficient basic and technical skills training programs in the Commonwealth. Under the leadership of the Department of Workforce Development and Commonwealth Corporation, we are partners in a number of workforce development initiatives, including the Nursing Career Ladder Initiative (NUCLI), the Extended Care Career Ladder Initiative (ECCLI), and the BEST/BayState Works Initiatives and the Pathways to Success by Age 21 (P-21). |
