Read the Working Together Executive Summary

The Massachusetts Regional Workforce Strategy Initiative, led by the Commonwealth Corporation on behalf of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, is a statewide effort to build regional pipelines to prepare Massachusetts workers for high demand jobs. The initiative is bringing together leaders in business, education, government, and workforce development to develop concrete plans and partnerships to fill jobs that are in-demand in each region of the state and to develop pathways to the skills and opportunities that lead to success in our economy.

The Center for Labor Market Studies at Northeastern University prepared sets of reports for each of the state's sixteen Workforce Investment Regions.  These reports will drive the identification of regional workforce needs and priorities to assist regional partners in developing strategies to solve workforce challenges.

Below are the reports for each of the state's Workforce Investment Regions.  For each region, there is a full report of labor market developments and files with data tables on both career and technical education completions and certificates, associate's, and bachelor's degrees conferred in each region. Most regions also have a PowerPoint presentation.
