Workforce Investment Act Funds to Massachusetts Cut Drastically

FY 2007 WIA USDOL State allotments were reduced by $11.29 million representing a cut of more than 19%. In addition, wagner peyser funds that support one-stop career centers were reduced by more than $800,000.
